Our trainees learn about sustainable practices so that they can not only apply them here at Amal, but as well as in their lives
Here, we make most of everything we can from scratch and don’t buy it in cans. We make our own mayonnaise, dipping sauces, all of our syrups are made here by cooking and reducing the fruit with sugar.
We try our best to use little or no chemicals in our cleaning. Instead, we use salt and vinegar more often.
In the winter we take the oranges from our orange tree to make fresh juice. We also use our orange tree flowers and put them in our tea.
