The Amal’s second center located in the Targa neighborhood of Marrakech offers highly popular daily cooking and baking classes in traditional Moroccan cuisine. Classes are taught in Arabic, French, or English. To reserve your class, please click the link below. Your reservation is not complete until you have received an email confirmation. Our classes fill up quickly, so please book as far ahead as possible to get the date you want!

Cooking Class
During Amal Targa’s cooking class, you will join others to make traditional Moroccan dishes such as tajines, couscous, or pastilla.
Classes start at 9 a.m. and end around 1:30 p.m., after you have enjoyed the fabulous meal you have created. The cost per person is 350 dirhams per adult and 200 dirhams for children under 10 years. The price includes the class, the meal that you made, a recipe card, and Moroccan tea — which you’ll help pick from our herb garden!
We are able to prepare one type of tajine for every two-to-three people during the cooking class. In Moroccan tradition, these tajines are slow-cooked over charcoal and eaten as a group. Your tajine will be plenty of food for you and the other members of your party!
Baking Class
Indulge your sweet tooth! Amal Targa is now offering Moroccan baking classes! Join our training champions to learn how to make different types of Moroccan pastries. You can choose one of the following treats for your class:
